Samsung is expected to launch the third generation of its popular phablet the Galaxy Note III on September 4 at IFA 2013 event in Berlin. However, so far we not have come across any leaked images of the device, which would have given us an idea how the next-gen of the Galaxy Note II actually looks like. This suggests that Samsung has definitely taken some strong measures to prevent its forthcoming devices leak in images, but in spite of the South Korean OEM’s efforts Galaxy S IV managed to appear in leaked images just a few days before its launch. Now it seems that the history is about to repeat itself once again, as just eight days before the IFA 2013 will kick off, front panel of much anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note III appeared in the newly leaked images.

These images were released by ETradeSupply, an online retailer, which reported that “After having a precisely measurement, we get that the display size is approximately 5.68 inches. Compared with the Galaxy Note 2, the Note 3’s screen design has some small changes. The shape of the corner is more like the Galaxy S4 and the boarder is slimmer, which is only 2.2 mm. The total thickness of the display is merely 1.8mm.” Moreover, the significant thing about the front panel of Galaxy Note III was that it sports extremely thin bezels on the side. In addition, the newly leaked images have proved that all previous reports, which claimed that the next-gen of the phablet will be more rectangular in shape were true.

Nevertheless, ETradeSupply was not the only one that has received the images of Galaxy Note III’s front panel, as Sonny Dickson was also able to get hold of similar set of pictures. Still it is too early to say that the front panel in the leaked images in legitimate, as we have to wait for some more leaks before jumping on to any conclusion. As far as the specs of the galaxy Note III are concerned, rumour has it that the new phablet will boast a 1.8GHz Octa-core Exynos 5420 processor, 13-megapixel rear camera, 3GB of RAM, Android OS 4.3 Jelly Bean, LTE connectivity and 3,200 mAh battery.

Rest of the specs of Galaxy Note III are still a mystery and it is likely that we would get to know about them on September 4, when Samsung will eventually unveil the new device in front of the audience.
