Gimmie, an establishment that provides companies solutions with respect to rewarding their customers, has moved its office to Singapore and has reportedly received funding from a local government agency in an attempt to build its connection in the local market.

Gimmie used to be based in the Silicon Valley, but now it is targeting a new market, considering that there will be a lot of potential and opportunities for revenue generation. Gimmie chief executive David Ng. Liu has personal connections in this new market and he thinks that this could help his company explore the new business avenues. He said:

“I felt an opportunity based on what I was hearing. Nothing was being addressed for the Asian market and we had some strategic advantages because of the personal connections I have. At the same time, there were many companies trying to do the same thing with rewards in the U. I had to basically go against the wishes of our stakeholders.”

While operating in the Silicon Valley, Gimmie generated huge profits, but shifting to the new location is indeed a courageous task. However, their goal is simple. Ng has said that he does not want to be one of the competitors striving to ensure their existence in the market. Instead, he has long-term goals and wants to be a trend-setter by making his company the market leader. He said:

“I want to be the market leader. I don’t want to be one of many companies trying to do the same thing.”
