Search engine giant Google has announced a new program named Google Partners on Monday, May 27th that focuses on Web professionals and agencies, who assist businesses in achieving success over the internet. Initially the technology giant launched Google Partner as a pilot project in Canada and if it is successful then the Search Engine will expand to other countries as well. The purpose of introducing Google Partner was to bring all existing programs of the Mountain View-based company under a new umbrella, so agencies could access training, support and resources from Google on one platform without facing any troubles. Yet one still cannot call it an amalgamation of various services, as Google has also formed a new Partners community to “foster knowledge sharing within the industry” and to “provide more opportunities for dialogue with Google specialists.” For further details see the official post of Google below regarding the new program:

“Whether you’re trying to capture the attention of a customer around the corner, or looking to open your business to a global audience, the Internet is a powerful tool for businesses of all shapes and sizes.

Many businesses rely on web professionals and agencies to manage their online presence and their online marketing. Fortunately, Canada is home to a thriving community of talented digital experts dedicated to helping businesses make the web work for them. We want to make it easier for businesses to connect with the right agencies and experts, which is why we’re excited to launch the pilot of Google Partners in Canada today.

Developing Champions of the Web

Google Partners is a new program for agencies and web professionals who help businesses succeed on the web. We’ve brought together our existing programs under this new platform, making it easier for agencies to access Google resources, training, and support all in one place. We also created a new Partners community to foster knowledge sharing within the industry, and to provide more opportunities for dialogue with Google specialists.

With Google Partners, agencies and web professionals will be able to:

Become a Partner: Earn the Google Partner badge to indicate to your current and future clients that you are a trusted Google Partner.

Hangout with Google: Join an exclusive Google+ community to receive support from Google specialists and to talk with industry experts.

Connect with Customers: When you earn the badge, we’ll introduce you to potential clients through Google Partner Search.

Access Exclusive Content: Explore a library of the latest Google-created trainings, case studies, and pitch materials to help deepen your expertise.

Finding Trusted Partners For Your Business

If your business is looking for help succeeding online, Google Partners can connect you with an agency or certified professional you can trust who has been verified by Google as helping their customers and using the latest best practices. Using Google Partner Search, you can easily locate any Google Partner across Canada. You can also identify Google Partners by the Partner badge displayed on their website. We will only award the badge to agencies and web professionals that have met high quality standards in customer care and online expertise.

Connecting Partners in Canada

Google Partners will initially be available only in Canada. With an estimated 6,000 small agencies and web professionals active across the country, the robust web community makes Canada an ideal choice to pilot this new initiative. We may look to roll this out more broadly in the months to come.”
