Is everyone waiting for Infinity Blade III to come soon? The CV of a staff member at Infinity Blade Chair Entertainment suggests that they are working on the project. If the reports are true then it could be hitting the markets sooner rather than later. The new community manager Hilary Goldstein also hinted at the possibility of a new version of the game. Gaming communities across the world are desperate to get hands on the brand new version of an extremely popular game.
“Could Infinity Blade III be coming soon? If we are to believe the CV of a staffer at Infinity Blade dev Chair Entertainment (via Kotaku) which noted they are working on “Infinity Blade 3 for the iPhone,” then it could be coming soon. The site points out the new community manager Hilary Goldstein hinted last month in an introductory post we could be expecting a new version of the game fairly soon”, iphoneincanada.com reported.
After Infinity Blade II became a huge success in late 2011, Epic Games, creator of Infinity Blade, sold around 40 shares to Chinese Tech Giant “Tencent”. It will be interesting to see if this will have any impact on the next version of Infinity Blade. Would Tencent be able to improve the quality of an already high class gaming experience.
“Since the release of Infinity Blade II in late 2011, Epic Games sold off a 40% stake of itself to Chinese internet giant Tencent, which has been usually associated with freemium games–could this be the way of the future for the next Infinity Blade? Kotaku further alludes Chair might unveil a new Infinity Blade at the launch of iOS 7 in the fall (plus show off support for a new third party game controller possibly), which has happened in the past with its other titles. Infinity Blade II was recently featured as one of the free app downloads from Apple’s five year App Store anniversary celebration, which netted Chair 5.7 million new Infinity Blade players”, said iphoneincanada.com.
According to sources, there is strong possibility that Chair could unveil the brand new Infinity Blade III at the launch of iOS at the end of this year. This will be new third part game controller’s way of showing support to Apple. Stats revealed by Apple Inc conclude that more than 5.7 million infinity Blade players were netted after Apple made the app available for download free of cost at Apple’s five year Store Anniversary.
