The popular mobile photo sharing social network Instagram has finally revealed the list of the most-photographed sites in the world. Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport was ranked as the top posted photo on Instagram which is instersting since the city also has the most number of Facebook users than any other place in the world.
Suvarnabhumi Airport of Bangkok was able to achieve the number one position because more than 100,000 pictures were taken in the venues terminals during the previous year according to a blog post from Instagram. After Bangkok, California’s Disneyland Park came in as the second most-photographed location on Instagram.
However, Los Angeles remained the only city that was able to capture more spots on this Instagram’s top ten chart as compared to any other metropolis. Los Angeles International Airport grabbed 5th position, Dodger Stadium came in at 6th, famous sports arena Staples Centre attained 8th place and Santa Monica Pier managed to grab the ninth spot.
Apart from this the top ten locations also included New York City’s famous Time Square and city of romance, Paris was able to make it to this list as the popular tourist site Eiffel Tower achieved 7th place on the list.
