Research In Motion’s upcoming Blackberry 10 launch may not have many surprises left if the amount of leaks coming from the Waterloo-based smart-phone company do not stop. RIM is expected to launch its flagship smartphones on January 30, 2013 and according to the latest leaked internal document the new platform will have Blackberry Messenger Video.

The new feature will enable BBM users to “chat with a colleague or customer then transition to a video call for improved collaboration and share a presentation or spreadsheet instantly to help get the message across more clearly – all at the push of a button.”

Aside from this it has also been reported that users can make calls through BBM Video and the caller will appear on most of the display, while the users image will come into view on the bottom left side in a small window. However, as BBM Video has not been officially announced by RIM, users will have to wait until January 30 to see how the system works in reality.

If the unconfirmed report is true then Blackberry users will be able to make contact with other BBM users like Facetime or Skype and that too without paying any charges. Moreover, this latest feature will not only help RIM increase the worth of its BB10 devices in the market, but at the same time it will also enable the Canadian company to regain its lost market share from Android and iOS powered devices.

Earlier RIM announced BBM Voice feature in its BB10 OS through which Blackberry users will be able to make calls to other Blackberry users over Wi-Fi connectivity without paying any charges. So with the addition of BBM Video, the new platform will only get better and lure more people.
