Latest Leaked Information Shows iPhone 5C to Come With 4-Inch Display, 8MP Rear Camera, iOS 7, Siri Support and More

So far we have come across a number of leaked images of Apple‘s low-cost iPhone 5C, which have confirmed the previous reports regarding the handset that it will come in different colours and unlike iPhone 5 it will have a plastic back cover. Rumours also pointed out that iPhone 5C would also be low in specs as compared to the forthcoming iPhone 5S. However, interesting thing about the plastic clad iPhone 5C is that Apple is expected to launch it on September 10th, but so far none of the reports had given us an idea what would be the specifications of this inexpensive version of iPhone. Nevertheless, the entire affair is now about to change, as finally a report that leaked on Tuesday, August 27th has shared some of the specs of iPhone 5C.

 

According to the report iPhone 5C has an unknown dual-core chipset and it boasts a 4-inch, 1136×640 display. Moreover, the upcoming smartphone sports 1GB of RAM and just a like its siblings the handset would be made available with three different internal storing capacities 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. As far as the rear snapper of the low-cost device is concerned, it will feature an 8-megapixel camera, while a 1.2-megapixel camera can be found on its front side. The leaked report also claimed that iPhone 5C will be 106g and it dimensions will be 124.2×58.4×7.6mm.

 

Besides this iPhone 5C will be running the new iOS 7 as its operating system and it will also feature Siri that will support various languages, which includes English, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, French, German and Korean. But it cannot be confirmed that to what extent this newly leaked report is authentic. So the best option is to wait for some more leaks in order to know the exact specifications of iPhone 5C.

 

In spite of being a less expensive smartphone as compared to the iPhone 5S, still there are lot of expectations from the handset, as it likely to do well in developing markets especially, where cheap Android devices are quite popular and have a very high demand. In fact, Apple has developed the low-cost iPhone 5C to compete against the inexpensive Android offerings, as it will help the company not only to gain more market share in developing markets, but also aid it to boost its sales.

 

Now let’s wait and see how Apple’s iPhone 5C will be greeted by the consumers. General view is that it depends a lot on the specs and the price of the iPhone 5C.
