In August of this year, strong rumours swirled in the mobile technology world that the first generation of the Galaxy Note by Samsung will be receiving the latest version of Android, Jelly Bean 4.1.1 sometime between September and October. Now it seems that the upgraded version of Google’s popular operating system will be delayed until some time in December.

Although this news is sure to disappoint some, there is no reason why Galaxy Note users should feel bad about this delay because as is often the case, this dark cloud brings with it a silver lining. According to a leaked version of the aforementioned software, once Galaxy Note users will be able to get their hands on this new version of Jelly Bean they will be able to enjoy some of theGalaxy Note II’s advanced features on their devices as well.

This list of functions will include top features like Nature UX, Mulit View, Air View and a few other ingenious traits that have made the Note II an incredibly popular device (TQ was on it). Through the Multi View function, Galaxy Note users will be able to open and view two apps alongside one another simultaneously in landscape mode, while with Air View they can preview movies and galleries without touching the screen with the S Pen. This function works by prompting a small cursor to appear on the screen when the user holds the S Pen a few centimeters above the display, allowing him or her to interact with the phablet without making actual physical contact.

Fellow internet source SamMobile believes that the leaked version of the software for international users is by no means a confirmed deal therefore Galaxy Note users will be able to directly install 4.1.2 version of Android’s OS and its additional features instead.
