Leaked Image of Internal Presentation Reveals Specs for BlackBerry A10

BlackBerry Aritso, also known as A10, is an upcoming device from the Canadian smartphone maker that seems to be creating lot of buzz not only among the company employees but also its fans who are really getting exciting about the new product and cannot wait to get their hands on the smart device. As rumour has it, BlackBerry A10 is likely to boast a 1.9GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor, a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1080×1920 resolution, 2GB of RAM and a , 3,000mAh battery. In addition to this, rumours have also indicted that BlackBerry A10 will most probably see first light in November. However, a newly leaked image and video of the flagship device have revealed that A10 is bigger than its predecessor, the Z10.

 

Another more recent leaked image of an internal presentation not only confirmed that Blackberry Aritso has a 5-inch display, but that it also sports the following specs that are entirely different from the ones suggested in the early reports. Here is how MobileSyrup has listed the specs of A10 from the internal presentation:

– Dimensions: 140.7 x 72 x 9.4mm

 

– OS: BlackBerry OS 10.2

 

– Camera: 8.0MP Rear Camera with flash, IS 5X / 2.0MP Front Camera IS 5X

 

– Memory: 16GB + 2GB(RAM) + 64GB uSB (hot-swap)

 

– Connectors: Micro USB, Micro HDMI out

 

– Sensors: Ambient Light, Proximity, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Magnetometer, Altimeter

 

– WiFi: 802.11 a/b/g/n (4G Mobile Hotspot)

 

– Battery: 2800 mAh Integrated

 

– Other: NFC, DLNA, Micro SIM”

 

If the aforementioned specs turned out to be true then, it means that BlackBerry has done well to compete against its rivals like Apple, Samsung, HTC, Sony, LG and Nokia, as their high-end devices boasts better specs than the BlackBerry Z10 and Q10. Still, there is some room for improvement, as the rear camera of BlackBerry A10 is only 8-megapixels, whereas Samsung and Sony have already introduced 13-megapixel cameras in their flagship smartphones.

 

Nevertheless, with these features it is anticipated that the A10 will give a tough time to its competitors in Canada. But so far the pricing and exact date of launch for BlackBerry A10 is still not known. So till any further update all we can do is just wait, as the way leaked information regarding the handset is appearing online, it is highly likely that soon the pricing and exact date of A10 launch will also appear in the future reports.
