After seeing a lot of leaked specs and images of Motorola Mobility’s forthcoming flagship smartphone, the Moto X, the Google owned company eventually sent out invites for an August 1st event last week in order to bring the device to light for the first time and unveil its features. So far various reports have mentioned different specs for the X phone, but none of them can be confirmed as Motorola has officially neither confirmed nor declined any rumors . As a result of this there is a lot of anxiousness amongst fans of the upcoming smartphone, who cannot wait to get their hands on the new device. For such fans there is good news, recently some new leaked images related to the Moto X have surfaced online, which have confirmed the specs of the flagship smartphone.

These images of Moto X were scored by AndroidPolice, in which the “About” screen shows some of the major specs of the smartphone along with its model number: XT1058. Below are the specs that appeared in the newly leaked images:

– 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 720×1184 (about 4.5″ without on-screen buttons)

– 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm S4 Pro processor, Adreno 320 GPU

– 10.5MP rear camera with flash

– 2.1MP front-facing camera

– 2GB of RAM

– 16GB of internal memory (12GB of which is user-accessible)

– Android OS 4.2.2 Jelly Bean

– 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, NFC

– 2,200 mAh non-removable battery

The Moto X model appeared in the images given above and is an AT&T version, so it is anticipated that the Rogers’ version of the smartphone will not be much different. Previously the Moto X phone was listed as LTE enabled on Rogers, but the latest pictures does not indicate any sign of this functionality. Besides this the pricing and the particular customizations of the X phone are still a mystery, as leaked images have not given any hint about the matter.

So it appears that to know further details of the Moto X phone, we have to wait for the August 1st event from Motorola or we may see some more leaked specs or images of the smartphone before the final unveiling. Motorola earlier made it known that Moto X will be designed by its customers, which will enable them to have a unique handset. Moreover, this is going to be the first time that a smartphone maker is allowing its customers to design their handsets, before that Nokia had offered its consumers to make a back cover of a Lumia handset with 3D printer.
