As you may recall BlackBerry had announced two handsets on January 30th. Of these two one was the all-touch BlackBerry Z10 that has a virtual keyboard, whereas the second device called the Q10 comprises of a physical QWERTY keyboard similar to traditional BlackBerry devices. So far BlackBerry has not launched the Q10, as it is looking to mesmerize fans with the all-touch Z10. However, since the device with physical QWERTY keyboard has made several appearances in images and its specs are out as well therefore fans and tech analysts believe that they know everything about Q10. But a new set of leaked images of the  Q10 have created a new twist in the story, as a photo shows this QWERTY keyboard device with a rubberised material back cover instead of the carbon glass in which it was originally introduced. The latest development is a true a revelation because originally just the BlackBerry Z10 was introduced with rubberised back cover. Therefore, it also creates doubt on the authenticity of the new leaked images of BlackBerry Q10, but you never know. Given that BlackBerry has not released this model yet and there is a possibility that the Canadian company might have decided to replace the original carbon glass back cover with the rubberised material cover or it may present the new cover as an accessory for the Q10.

This was not the only surprise that the new leaked images revealed. Another photo shows that the BlackBerry Q10 will pack a 2100mAh battery instead of the 1800mAh cell that can be found on the Z10. If the BlackBerry actually makes Q10 available with 2100mAh battery than moderate users will be able to have a full day power “and might even be enough juice to power up the pinstriped power user close to a whole day,” according to PhoneArena.

However, nothing can be said with surety at this point in time, so we all have to wait till BlackBerry makes the Q10 available for sale. Expectations are that BlackBerry will launch the Q10 in the mid of May in the US. Analysts believe that Q10 will be warmly welcomed because its bears the physical QWERTY keyboard that majority of the users are accustomed to using. Plus it was because of this keyboard that BlackBerry was able to achieve its current status.
