Chinese information technology and electronics company Lenovo has been on a complete tear lately, quickly on its way to becoming the world’s largest PC manufacturer and featuring the type of CEO who gives his performance bonus to line workers (TQ was on it).

Financially, the good work is also apparent with the company exceeding projections and posting $8 billion in revenue with a net profit of $141 million. According to Engadget, the figures represent 35 and 30 per cent increases over last year, a strong push that has earned them 15 per cent market share.

The company has been growing where it counts, increasing sales by nearly 60 per cent in the emerging markets that are India and Brazil while also dominating back home in China, becoming the second largest Smartphone manufacturer with 13 per cent of the market. The company will be launching their latest device, the K860 later this year and continues to earn acclaim for its personal computers and highly anticipated upcoming tablets.

We appreciate companies that produce quality product at great price points, and we clearly are far from the only ones given Lenovo’s continued success.
