LG has unveiled its much anticipated flagship smartphone, the G2, earlier this month and now smartphone lovers across the globe are eagerly waiting to get their hands on the device when the South Korean company will make it available for sale in their country. This list also includes Canadians, as they are also quite excited about the release of LG G2. It is now official that the handset will make its debut in North America as well in the coming months. According to the latest update, numerous wireless carriers in Canada will make the LG G2 available to their customers. The list includes names like TELUS, Videotron, SaskTel, Bell, Rogers and WIND Mobile, which will offer the latest Android powered handset. In addition to this, Canadian retailers like Target Mobile, The Source, Tbooth wireless, Best Buy and Future Shop will also put the G2 up for sale.

However, it is not clear on which date and price carriers and retailers will make the LG G2 available for sale. But one thing is for sure that the new flagship smartphone is the first device that LG has produced under its brand new “G” branding. Moreover, the new G2 is the successor of LG Optimus G series phones and it boasts mouth watering features as well as a unique design along with rear volume and power that can easily lure anyone.

Here is what Vice President of Mobile Communications at LG Canada, Geoffrey McMurdo had said about the new smartphone on this occasion, “In developing the LG G2, we listened to and learned from what consumers were telling us they wanted in a premium smartphone. LG G2 features a unique design with an ultra thin display bezel and innovative rear key, intuitive user experience and time saving innovations. Through our strong carrier and retail partnerships, our most exciting and ambitious mobile phone, the LG G2 will be available to Canadians nationally this fall.”

LG has already made a comeback in the high-level smartphone market thanks to its Optimus G Pro phablet that has lured many buyers across the globe and increased the profitability of the Korean manufacturer in the third quarter of this year. The 5.5-inch phablet alone saw sales of one million units in South Korea back in June from which one can gauge its popularity. Now with the launch of G2, LG is aiming more higher, as the company expects to sell 10 million units of the latest smartphone.

This means that LG is seriously considering to give a tough time to its rival handsets such as Samsung Galaxy S IV, Sony Xperia Z, HTC One and iPhone 5 with the launch of G2.
