To attract customers and compete with their peers, electronics manufacturers are not only looking at creating the next level of great graphics and game play  they are also looking to bring physical changes to their hardware. As a result of that, electronics manufacturers are making small, slim and light weight products regardless of whether it is a refrigerator, TV, gaming console or something else.

Famous technology company, Nintendo whose bread and butter is the manufacture of gaming consoles has not made many changes to the physical appearance of its famed Wii product this far. This is in spite of the fact that Nintendo’s top rivals Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation III are giving it a tough competition by offering customers thrilling gaming experience and updated uniquely designed game consoles.

After watching from the sidelines, it seems that Nintendo has made the decision to revamp their hardware. The Japanese firm is set to introduce the Wii Mini with a prominent change in the physical hardware. Prior to this, Nintendo launched Wii U and made slight changes to its hardware, none too prominent as the largest visible change was a smaller size.

Although the oldest gaming console manufacturer has not given out any official word regarding the changes in its upcoming device, photos of the Nintendo Wii Mini box revealed that it will see a major change. As, the picture above depicts, the Nintendo Wii Mini’s console will come in a two-tone colour scheme, red and black. Plus there is also a possibility that latest version Wii Mini will be slimmer than its ancestor.

This latest product from Nintendo will be up for pre-order from Best Buy Canada from December 7. Thus far Nintendo has not specified the complete details and pricing of this latest Wii Mini, but rumours have this latest version coming with same accessories we have grown to love; one Nunchuk and one Wii Remote Plus with jacket and sensor bar.
