This year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas has revealed several new products that attendees and enthusiasts have been gushing over. The Panasonic Ultra HD/4K technology incorporated into television sets had people talking but its tablet and a personal computer with 4K technology made Panasonic the only electronic manufacturers at CES 2013 to have such devices in display.

The prototype tablet has an incredible 3,840×2,560-pixel resolution with 230 pixels for every inch and it is packed into a 20-inch IPS LED-backlit LCD display. This resolution was even superior than Apple’s 15-inch Retina Display MacBook Pro that boasts just a 2,880×1,880-pixel resolution at 220 ppi

This 20-inch prototype slate from Panasonic runs on Microsoft’s Windows 8 and has got a Intel Core i5-3427U processor with 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD and Nvidia GeForce graphics. The body of the tablet is shiny brushed metal and it was showcased in white at CES 2013. What’s more is that so far there is no other 20 inch computer out their except for this tablet from Panasonic that can match such a high resolution and pixel density.

This means that Panasonic has successfully achieved the next level in PC resolution with this unique technology, which so far no one has achieved. So, now Japanese manufacturer has got a huge advantage over its rivals because its high resolution device will help the company to penetrate deep into the market.
