Nokia is soon going to reveal its much anticipated smartphone, Lumia 928, that is said to have some terrific features, which will help the handset outshine its rivals. However, until now we have only heard of different rumours, reports and seen some leaked images of the device therefore it was hard to make any prediction about the camera features and other specs of the smartphone. But Nokia has resolved this issue by officially posting a video that gives a comparison between the cameras for the Lumia 928, Samsung Galaxy S III and Apple’s iPhone 5, according to The Verge. This was the first time ever Nokia has released a video related to Lumia 928 that is clearly showing the edge of having a PureView camera. For the reason that the result of Lumia 928’s camera was simply superior to that of Galaxy S III and iPhone 5’s cameras. Here is what The Verge has reported about the comparison:

“Unsurprisingly, the results definitely appear to favour the 928 — colours appear more saturated, with sharper focus and fewer blown-out highlights than the competition. It’s important to keep in mind that this is a single test from the phone’s manufacturer, but so far so good.

Other details include the rumoured 8.7-megapixel resolution and optical image stabilization, keeping it in line with the camera on last year’s Lumia 920.”

The Nokia Lumia 928 is actually the next edition of the existing Lumia 920 model from the Finnish mobile manufacturer that boasts a camera which works extremely well in low light. On top of it, the Lumia 928 camera also has optical image stabilisation that will give you smoothly shot videos. The comparison shows that the Lumia 928 has a sharper picture focus and better colour saturation than the flagship smartphone from Apple. The Windows-based smartphone also beats Galaxy S III when it comes to sharper picture focus and low video noise.

Though, the camera of Lumia 928 was better than Galaxy S III and iPhone 5 in the test, which was a remarkable achievement by the Finnish company, the interesting thing to note was that Nokia did not put up its upcoming smartphone against the latest flagship device of Samsung, the Galaxy S IV which features a 13-megapixel rear camera. Therefore, the comparison seems bit unfair, as it should have taken place between the latest available rival smartphones and Samsung has made the S IV available in stores for sale across different countries already.
