TTP Logic Group has created the aforementioned engine, known as QuadLook to display information into four quadrants to align you with the type of information you are looking for.
The engine, which is currently in beta displays a bevy of information that is categorized into the following quadrants:
Top Left – standard website results akin to those we know and expect
Top Right – related images and video files from YouTube
Lower Left – results from Wikipedia and other popular and influential blogs
Lower Right – news as well as updated information and messages from Twitter.
Each dimension can be expanded to cover the entirety of the screen with one click and returned back to its quadrant with the same amount of effort.
