Macotakara, a Japanese website, claims that new colours in the next generation of Apple’s iPhone models will be one of the top highlights of the handset. Mentioning the details, Macotakara reported that Apple will roll out the successor of iPhone 5, which many have already started calling the “iPhone 5S,” in three new colours other than the existing white/silver and black/slate shades found on the current model. Here is piece from the original report of Macotakara: “It seems that it will have gossiped if the 5-colour lineup of low-priced edition iPhone is carried out until now, but iPhone 5S may be 3 colours added to 2 colours of iPhone 5 1 colour somehow. However, the informed sources did not tell about the kind of detailed colour.”
Besides this, the Japanese website also claimed that the much rumored inexpensive version of Apple’s iPhone will also be launched in five different colours. However, Macotakara did not spell out whether these five colours will come in addition to the two existing white/silver and black/grey shades or including these options. Apart from this, Macotakara’s report also did not specify the new colours of the next iPhone models.
This was not the first report that has claimed that the next iPhones of Apple will be launched in new colours, as numerous analysts have previously made similar claims. In fact, a report has even claimed that the future iPhone will come in the same colours that the fifth-gen iPod Touch boasts. This possibility cannot be ruled out, as earlier Apple took iPhone 5’s design cues from iPad Mini, which comes in similar white/silver and black/grey shades.
The fifth-gen iPod Touch is not much different from current iPhone, as it shares quite a few design characteristics with the flagship device. At present, Apple has made iPod Touch available for sale in six different colours, which are red, yellow, blue, pink, black and silver. Macotakara’s report has also claimed that the iPhone 5S will be made available for sale in August this year after it will is announced in July.
The expected update for iPhone 5S would be a better camera and faster processor. Aside from this, fingerprint sensor technology is also likely to be incorporated into the next iPhone. However, at this point in time all this is just speculation, as Apple has not confirmed anything regarding its next iPhone. To the extent the report from Macotakara is concerned the Japanese websites has a mixed record, so it cannot be said with surety whether its claims are true or not.
