Apple as is often the case, find themselves once again atop headlines as different reports alleging that California based company’s prominent partner Foxconn is currently engaged in the “initial testing” of the newly rumoured Apple TV sets.

According to the sources, the Taiwan based manufacturer is conducting early testing of high definition TV sets ranging in size between 46 and 55 inches. In addition to this it was also learnt that the production of these latest TV sets from Apple is scheduled to begin at “the end of next year”.

As far as its debut is concerned, it was reported the Apple TV sets will most probably see the first light at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2013 that will be held between January 8 and 11 in Las Vegas, U.S.

However, the notable thing about this last report is that so far Apple has never showcased its brand new products at International CES show. Therefore, if this does happens it would be the first ever time that Cupertino company is revealing a product at a non-Apple event, however so far nothing is official yet.

It is hard to predict at this point in time whether Apple’s latest TV sets will make their debut at International CES 2013 or not. However, one thing that is for sure is that Apple is definitely working on producing TV sets, as late Steve Jobs had hinted about it in his biography and most recently CEO Tim Cook had also shared during an interview that it represented an area of deep interest for them.

On the other hand, this was the second report related to Apple TV sets, which has surfaced in a week time, as earlier Wall Street Journal also published a story related to this product. According to that report of WSJ, work on such TV sets had begun as a part of a business partnership between Foxconn and Sharp Electronics.
