Samsung is on a roll and the South Korean company is announcing a new smartphone one after another. Samsung has announced two new Galaxy handsets in the past two weeks and now the Android device maker has made a another new Galaxy smartphone official. The name of this new smartphone is Galaxy Ace 3 and it will support LTE network in specific markets. The Galaxy Ace 3 is basically an entry-level phone that sports a 4-inch display, a 1GHz dual-core processor and a 5-megapixel rear camera. Besides this, Ace 3 also has a front-facing VGA camera, whereas internal storage capacity of the device is 4GB that can be extended with a micro-SD card. The entry-level smartphone is powered by Android Jelly Bean 4.2.
Although, Galaxy Ace 3 is an entry-level phone, Samsung has equipped the handset with numerous smart features that the company has offered in its latest high-end Galaxy smartphones. Here is how the Samsung Tomorrow has listed the smart features of Ace 3:
“‘S Translator’ gives instantaneous translations at any time.
‘S Travel’ provides guides and travel information for your next trip.
‘Smart Stay’ recognizes when a user is looking at the phone, and saves battery life when a user looks away by dimming the screen and powering down using advanced facial recognition.
‘S Voice’ offers voice command functionality.
‘Easy Mode’ brings a simple and intuitive homescreen mode for streamlined access to your top functions.”
Apart from this, Samsung software offers various types of camera settings, which includes Best Photo, Buddy Photo Share and Sound & Shot. However, just like the 8GB edition of latest Galaxy S IV, the usable memory of Galaxy Ace 3 is half of what Samsung has mentioned in its feature list. But this time the Korean company has informed the potential users beforehand that approximate usable memory of Ace 3 will be 1.77 GB, so a micro-SD is a must buy with the handset.
Nevertheless, along with the specs details Samsung did not shed any light on its launch plans and the pricing of the Galaxy Ace 3, but the company has made it clear that it will release two different versions of the handset, a 3G version and a LTE version for the emerging markets of the world. Let’s see how Galaxy Ace 3 will be greeted by customers, as prior to this Galaxy S IV became the best selling smartphone of Samsung by surpassing 10 million shipments mark within the first month of its release.
