In this ‘smart’ age even refrigerators, just like your smartphones, can assist you in carry out your daily tasks. Samsung’s new smart refrigerator can become a friendly figure in your kitchen to assist you with the daily home affairs.

The new model of the refrigerator runs apps, takes notes, tells you recipes, and even informs you of the latest happening around the world. According to Reuters, Warner Doell, a vice president in the home appliance division at Samsung Canada, said of the T9000 refrigerator:

“The fridge, because it’s the hub of the family and the kitchen, is now another access point without having to drag around your tablet or have your phone with you in the vicinity of where you’re cooking or entertaining.”

While you are working in the kitchen and find out that some items are short, you can create a shopping list on your refrigerator and can transfer them to your smartphone. This will help you remember every item you need without missing anything on your shopping list. There is something more to the smart refrigerator. Doell says:

“You can say, ‘I have these ingredients in the fridge — what can I make?’ and it will show you recipes that you can prepare.”

Samsung has created this new model of refrigerator considering the needs of the next five to 10 years. This product is specifically designed for youngsters who have grown up in the tech-friendly age and relies on various technologies to carry out their daily tasks and find solutions of their problems.
