Several Samsung Galaxy S III users in Canada were disappointed when Rogers changed the status of Android operating system 4.1 Jelly Bean’s arrival from “Late November” to “Early December”. Said fans had been impatiently waiting for this new OS version, wanting to get their hands on it before the holiday season begins.

Therefore, with this update numerous people were glad to know they would have the new version of Android OS 4.1 Jelly Bean before Christmas. At that point, Samsung Canada assured Galaxy S III users in the country that they will get OS 4.1 “before the holidays” and now it appears that the company is close to fulfilling its promise with the customers.

Samsung Canada has just tweeted on their micro-blogging website account that the new Android OS will available from this Monday, December 3. The exact tweet is outlined below:

“Jelly Bean starts rolling out to GALAXY S III owners over-the-air Monday. Stay tuned for more Jelly Bean announcements soon!”

However, Samsung Canada has not pointed outwhich carriers will be the first to have this 4.1 OS because the popular Galaxy S III is available for sale at almost every carrier in Canada. This includes Rogers, WIND, TELUS, Mobilicity, Videotron, Virgin, SaskTel with MTS and Koodo receiving the phone shortly as well. Once this latest OS for Galaxy S III will be made available, it will then be the Galaxy S II and Galaxy Note I and II Canadian users turn to get the 4.1 version of Android operating system.
