Digital cameras have struggled lately because the cameras on smartphones like iPhone and Android powered devices have been increasing in quality very quickly. Add the fact that mobile devices are constantly by our side and cameras find themselves in a precarious situation. Users do not find the need for a separate camera when their smartphones offer almost similar quality with many new apps to help share and edit the images. Samsung has developed digital camera that take pictures, location stamps them and then shares them online to keep up with the competition. However, the Korean company has now gone a lot further by added Google’s Android 4.1 mobile operating system to the mix and released the Samsung Galaxy Camera.
The device is a Connected Camera thanks to the Wi-Fi and 3G capabilities and the powerful Android Jelly Bean OS. The Samsung Galaxy Camera is one of a kind and allows users to shoot images, edit pictures and share those high quality images or videos quickly and easily. Android allows the user to instantaneously get on their favorite social network like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram and then post images. Connectivity is made super fast because of the Wi-Fi with Dual Band and Channel Bonding.
The GALAXY Camera is a powerful camera and currently outdoes any smartphone device camera easily. It has a 21x super long zoom lens and super-bright 16M BSI CMOS sensor. It also comes with ‘Smart Mode’ technology that has 15 default modes and settings making professional quality photography simple. The Samsung Galaxy Camera device only comes in glossy white and will be available on December 7th at Black’s retail stores and the Samsung Store.
