After launching the Samsung Galaxy S III in four new colours; Garnet Red, Titanium Grey, Sapphire Black and Amber Brown, consumers were hoping to see the latest version of its big brother phablet device, the Galaxy Note II in different colours as well.
However, Samsung took their time in making the announcement, with the South Korean mobile manufacturer finally revealing their intent to introduce the Galaxy Note II in three new colours; Sapphire Black, Amber Brown and Garnet Red.
These three new colour iterations of the popular hybrid device will be made available by 2013. According to an industry source, Samsung will debut these three new colours during the forthcoming Mobile World Congress 2013, which is to be held in Barcelona.
Samsung fans should get themselves giddy as they ready to see this 5.5 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen device in never before seen colours. However so caution should be exercised, as when Samsung launched the Galaxy S III in four new colours, Canadians only received the Garnet Red version from SaskTel, Bell and TELUS.
Therefore, it remains to be seen that whether Samsung continue to follow the tradition and launch Galaxy Note II in Garnet Red version only or bring the device in other colours as well. Either way, those who are keen will have no issues finding their colour of choice online.
At this point in time, the Samsung Galaxy Note II is available in two colours; Titanium Grey and Marble White and the latest version of Google’s Android, Jelly Bean 4.1 is also ready to land on this niche smartphone that has no competition till this date, even though Apple has tried to lure consumers by introducing the iPad Mini. Good luck trying to make a non-FaceTime call off of one of those.
