Nine Start-ups from FounderFuel’s Accelerator Program are Going to Silicon Valley

FounderFuel is a highly regarded accelerator program from Montreal that takes in potential start-ups to mentor and challenge them so they can flourish successfully by learning to maximize their offering. Recently nine of its latest batch of start-ups got the chance have set themselves up to do great things. These nine start-ups were selected for the Canadian Technology Accelerator program that will temporary move them to the famous Silicon Valley in the U.S.

 

The Canadian Technology Accelerator program was developed with an aim to assist start-ups nation wide so they could raise capital for themselves, build relationships and grow more swiftly by working and living in the paradise of start-ups – Silicon Valley.

 

This program is backed by the Consulate General of Canada with San Francisco and as a part of it each of nine start-ups will have their own fully paid place of work in any of the following four sites:

 

Plug and Play Tech Center in Sunnyvale

 

RocketSpace in San Francisco

 

CTA@Mission Bay in San Francisco

 

Environmental Business Cluster in San Jose

 

As General Manager of FounderFuel, Ian Jeffrey said in a statement that, “The FounderFuel teams will benefit from unprecedented opportunities to develop partnerships, accelerate their customer acquisition and raise additional funding. Free office space in Silicon Valley is an invaluable advantage to our teams, and weʼre very excited to be the first program to partner with the Canadian Technology Accelerator.”

 

Besides this, the nine startups will also get to meet with potential partners and mentors in the Valley. Below are the nine start-ups that were chosen for this program:

 

Appifier, gives web publishers life on mobile by crafting charismatic app experiences.

 

HealthAware, a platform to book health appointment.

 

LISTN, is a app designed for iPhone that enable its users to connect and share via music.

 

MyCustomizer, customizes products for online manufacturers and retailers.

 

NoteSolution, offers exam guides, lecture notes, video tutorials and lot more.

 

Oohlala, is a platform designed for college students to connect and boost their campus life.

 

Ooomf, offers app developers all they need to launch an app.

 

Openera, helps automatically organise, save and create backup your attachments and files.

 

Wavo, allow users to find music with their buddies.
