Startup Canada has been really working hard to achieve its Canadian Mentorship Challenge goal of mentoring 10,000 Canadians during Global Entrepreneurship Week and the initiative has gotten another helping hand thanks to technology startup Clarity.

Startup Canada’s Canadian Mentorship Challenge was started as way to encourage organizations across Canada to help and support entrepreneurs. The aim is to mentor 10,000 Canadian individuals within one week. Clarity, which is a network that connects experts with entrepreneurs to get advice on a range of topics, will create a special Startup Canada page which will showcase the mentors taking part in the Canadian Mentorship Challenge.

Victoria Lennox, cofounder of Startup Canada, spoke about working with Clarity and said, “I’m excited to partner with Clarity to support stronger connections between Canadian entrepreneurs and the broader community of experts provided through Clarity’s virtual network. Clarity’s one-on-one phonecalls will be a great addition to the face-to-face mentorship events happening on the ground across Canada during Global Entrepreneurship Week.”

Clarity started off in May 2012 and has helped make 12,000 calls between experts and the people looking for raising capital, customer acquisition and legal considerations. CEO of Clarity, Dan Martell, believes his startup offers an invaluable service for enterprising individuals and states that, “As entrepreneurs, we’ve all been in that position—what else can I do or where do I go from here? We’re about conversations that get entrepreneurs unstuck.  We move beyond the question-answer basics to advice that can really impact an entrepreneur’s career from the best source: those that have been there before.”
