Previously LG decided to move up the launch date of its upcoming L series mobile phones when the South Korean manufacturer heard rumours that its competing electronics manufacturer, Samsung, is planning to release its next big thing, the Galaxy S IV, in the middle of March. Since then the rumours of Galaxy S IV launch are whirling quite strongly in the tech world and thus have become a hot topic, as every Samsung fan is anxiously waiting for an official confirmation or further leaked information. The latest in this regard is that reputable site SamMobile and blogger Eldar Murtazin have reported that Samsung will reveal the S IV in New York City on March 14th. Furthermore, The Verge has claimed that its sources, who are familiar with the future plans of Samsung, have confirmed that Korean tech maker is “definitely” going to unveil one or more brand new devices on March 14th, of which one is expected to be the successor of Galaxy S III.

Although, at this point in time it is not clear whether the multinational company will also announce carrier availability at the time of its launch, but one thing is for certain that this latest development has now seriously created hype for the release of Samsung Galaxy S IV. As initial reports regarding the launch of Galaxy S IV were just considered rumours and people were not expecting to see this smartphone so early in the year. One reason behind this thought was that unlike BlackBerry and LG, Samsung has remained successful in tightly guarding the design and most of the specs of Galaxy S IV, as so far no leaked images of the forthcoming device have surfaced online, apart from the ones that are just showing its camera results.

Therefore, Galaxy S IV is still a mystery, but it is believed that Samsung will again emphasize more on features than raw specs, as you have already seen impressive trait like the eye-tracking Smart Stay in the S III that played a big role in its success. So it is anticipated that similar sort of new tricks will come into view when the Korean company will reveal its flagship device next month. In addition to this the sources of The Verge say that “The leap in cool new features from [Galaxy S III] to the next flagship will be bigger” than the jump Samsung made from the Galaxy S II to the Galaxy S III.
