Hyundai seems to be pretty active now days, as the famous car manufacturer is busy landing different deals in the form of technology partnerships that will help the company add new features to its upcoming vehicles. Of these latest technology partnerships the one that caught the eye instantly was its association with popular tech maker Apple, which will give Hyundai cars Siri Eyes Free mode.

The Siri Eyes Free mode will enable Hyundai car drivers to “interact with their iPhone using nothing more than their voice while keeping the device’s screen from lighting up.” Moreover, this partnership between Apple and Hyundai will also boost up the usage of Siri. Plus it will make iPhones more striking for Hyundai car drivers, while addition of Siri Eyes Free mode will give this automakers product a more tech savvy feel.

This was not the first time that Apple has developed an association with a car manufacturer to integrate Siri in vehicles, but the California based company has first made it known at WWDC back in 2012. After which Apple joined forces with different auto manufacturers like BMW, Mercedes-Benz, General Motors, Honda, Toyota and Audi.

Hyundai on the other hand is not only looking to add just Siri Eyes Free mode in its future cars, in fact the auto maker has announced earlier that it is also landing Google Maps on the dashboard of its future cars which will include “Send2Car” feature as well through which drivers can send destination details to a car from their smartphone. However, at this point in time there are no updates as to which line-up of vehicles, Hyundai will add Siri Eyes Free mode and which will support Google Maps.

Since Hyundai is quite aggressive about integrating new features in its future cars therefore an association with Google and Apple does not seem to be enough for this car maker. As, Hyundai has lately announced that they had developed integration with Nuance  as well to bring in Mobile High-Definition Link and Dragon Drive voice technology to give its customers a high quality audio and video experience.
