Samsung has already sent out invitations for its highly anticipated March 14th event in the New York City, where the company is likely to launch its flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S IV. The hint of the SIV’s release was first derived from the invites that Samsung recently dispatched, which said in big and bold letters “Be Ready 4 The Next Galaxy,” while the line below its stated “Come And Meet The Next Galaxy.” Therefore, several tech analysts believe that ‘4’ and ‘Galaxy’ are clearly indicating that the successor of Galaxy S III will make its debut on March 14th. However, now it is confirmed that Samsung is going to unveil the next Galaxy S series phone in New York. Given that the South Korean company has just released another teaser poster which says that “BE READY 4 THE NEXT GALAXY” as “You can Watch SAMSUNG UNPACKED via livestream and experience Samsung’s new flagship smartphone at Time Square.”
This means that festivities will not be limited just to the site of the event as Samsung is also taking it to the prime advertising real estate, Times Square. On top of it, those, who will not be in New York to see the event, can still watch it live via this link www.youtube.com/SamsungMobile. Thanks to the extraordinary advertising budget of Samsung that has today not only created huge hype about the event, it has also helped it against Apple. On the whole now there is a chance for almost everyone to watch S IV make its debut in New York. This latest move from Samsung has further boosted the hype of the March 14th event and smartphone users all over the world are now just impatiently waiting for the launch.
According to the rumoured specs of the upcoming smartphone, the S IV will boast a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED Full HD screen, 13-megapixel rear camera, 2-megpixel front camera and expected to be running the Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 OS. As far as its processor is concerned rumour has it that the European model may pack a Exynos 5 Octa processor, whereas the ones made available in the other parts of the world will come with a Snapdragon 600 processor. Nevertheless, this was just one of the many rumours that were swirling in the tech world and nothing at this point in time can be said for sure about the specs of the new Galaxy S IV.
