Toronto based online invoicing SaaS (software as a service) startup, FreshBooks has introduced a new app for iPad through which users can perform all their accounting and invoicing on the move, as this service is available on the cloud. This FreshBooks iPad app includes features like creating and managing invoices, expenses, estimates and much more.
This is not the first effort that FreshBooks has ever made on iOS as they had already introduced an iPhone app this summer and the idea of iPad app also cropped up after its launch as a natural progression. The idea behind FreshBooks was to provide accounting service in the cloud instead of boxed software, so users can manage their financial matters via means that are as mobile and flexible as their business. Due to this reason, FreshBooks has now become a famous service around the globe with numerous small businesses, professionals, agencies and freelancers utilising it.
Now with the introduction of FreshBooks iPad app, this service has gone one step further to facilitate professionals and businesses all over the world, as there will not be any delays in entering a receipt or making any accounting change because FreshBooks users can perform all such activities on their iPad, even if they are far away from their office.
In addition to this, FreshBooks users will also be able to work offline through this new iPad app with updates in their account being synced automatically whenever they connect to internet. So now with the help of this service, it becomes quite easy for small businesses to handle their accounts and also get paid quickly.
Besides this, FreshBooks has an Application Programming Interface (API) through which third-party app makers are integrating with its cloud-based accounting service. The number of FreshBooks users has reached the 5 million, comprised of people in 130 countries who are paying for this service.
