What’s good?
Glympse allows you to share your location while placing restrictions. That means your location will only be shared with the people you want. Moreover, you can set a time limit to share that particular location and once the limit is expired your location will no longer be shown even if you are still there. Moreover, the app is fairly easy to use as one does not have to set up any account or profile to use it. You just need to select a recipient and send a Glympse. The recipient will not need to install the app and can easily check the sent Glympse message. One of the highlighting features of the app is that it is very safe and keeps the data secure.
What’s not?
Well, we would not term it a negative aspect of the app, but if you want to use it you need a very good internet connection or otherwise you will not be able to check the Glympse sent to you properly. Moreover, it has been reported sometimes that the locations that are shown in Glympse are not hundred per cent accurate. However, the difference is negligible and tolerable.
Our Take
Glympse is a pretty decent app because it makes you share your location and in one way or the other creates some ease in your routine. Furthermore, the safety aspect has been considered by the developers while designing this app and we think they have done a very good job of factoring and mitigating potential risks. Try Glympse out and let us know what you think!
