The Waterloo-based Rebellion Media has announced that it has acquired the popular online shopping club, HomSav, for an undisclosed amount of money. The Toronto-based HomeSav offers home decor and lifestyle products that are quite popular in the country. With this acquisition, Rebellion Media has not only just increased its e-commerce offerings, in fact it has added a new and significant dimension to its lifestyle portfolio. Although, Rebellion Media appeared on the scene just an year ago, its rapid growth has enabled it to acquire HomeSav that is operating since 2010 and currently has more than 280,000 members, of which a majority are female customers.
This was not the first acquisition that Rebellion Media has made during its one year of operation. The company is growing so swiftly that in the last 13 months it has been able to acquire thirteen different companies, which includes Jingu, Sortable, Incentivibe, Crucial Interactive and others. On this occasion, Rebellion Media has issued a press release, which describes the details of the acquisition as:

HomeSav has also forged distribution partnerships with media companies including Style at Home and Post Media.
