We are thrilled to be opening our latest innovation centre alongside Wavefront. Together, we can support current and emerging developers to get to market faster with innovative applications for connected devices, as well as educate Canadian companies about the benefits of M2M technology.”
Nelson further added, “As Canadian businesses become increasingly mobile and dependent on their smartphones and tablets, it opens up a world of opportunities for application developers. Showcasing them in our Wireless Innovation Centres is an ideal away to offer them exposure that will benefit us all.”
The Rogers Wireless Innovation Centre has on display a number of M2M solution that have been deployed in Canada. The displays are interactive and let guests experience the technology first hand by allowing them to freely play with all the setups. Some innovative solutions on display include wireless asset tracking, virtual network back-up systems, health solutions and digital signs. The center has some upcoming technologies available for viewing such as real world solutions that utilize LTE networks.
