After a delay that was hard to pass Microsoft has finally launched Xbox One. Currently they are launching Xbox One in 13 countries instead of 21 as planned before. The main goal of the Xbox team is to provide everything from games to entertainment to its customers.

Other than the 13 markers where Xbox will be available now, it will feature in other markets of the world in coming November, but the date is still not confirmed. These countries include: Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Spain, United Kingdom, United States and New Zealand.  Furthermore the launch has been delayed to 2014 in eight markets which include Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Sweden, and Switzerland.

A post on Xbox Wire site (via Techhive) better explains this: “While we wish we could launch Xbox One simultaneously in these markets, there are many factors that determine the timing of specific market launches. This includes work to localize the Xbox One dash, incorporate additional voice and languages, and build partnerships to bring apps and meaningful local content for each country.”

If you are in these markets you will soon receive your favorite Xbox One, but if you are from Japan you will notice that Japan is not on any of these lists. The Xbox market in Japan is faring poorly as compared to other markets. Microsoft has rated Japan as “Tier-2” market” for Xbox One.

Tier-2 is the market that will receive Xbox after the Tier-1 markets, such as the US and Europe. The delay is because Xbox One is designed especially for western lifestyle, which will not work in Japanese markets. Xbox lovers who have already ordered Xbox One and belong to any of these markets are advised to contact immediately the local retailer, where they have placed their order. As soon as the company launches Xbox One in their country they will also receive a pack in-game.
