There are still several days left before the ‘Premier’ event from Samsung which will finally kick off in London during which the South Korean company will launch the already announced three new Galaxy smartphones. On Wednesday, June 12th Samsung has announced another handset called Galaxy S IV Zoom. The latest Galaxy S IV iteration “is the realization of Samsung’s mission to create a single device that can fulfil the role of both an industry leading smartphone and a high-end compact camera,” said the Korean smartphone producer in a statement. Therefore, Galaxy S IV Zoom is an ideal smartphone for those, who have great love for photography, as it boasts a 16-megapixel rear camera with 10x optical zoom and Xenon flash. Besides this Zoom also includes a 1.9-megapixel front facing camera that will allow the owners to make video calls while they are on the move.
It is important to mention here that the 16-megapixel rear camera of the Zoom offers 25 different Smart Modes, which are: Smart mode suggest, Best photo, Beauty face, Best face, Continuous shot, Landscape, Kids shot, Macro, Dawn, Snow, Food, Rich tone (HDR), Party/Indoor, Action freeze, Panorama, Drama, Eraser, Sound & Shot, Waterfall, Animated photo, Fireworks, Silhouette, Light trace, Sunset and Night.
However, having a heavy duty camera does not mean that Galaxy S IV Zoom is lagging behind in other features, as it sports a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, a 4.3 inch qHD super AMOLED display with a 960×540 screen resolution and just like the Galaxy S IV it is powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Although, internal storing memory is 8GB, the usable limit is restricted to 5GB only, but it can be extended up to 64GB with the addition of a microSD card. Apart from this, S IV Zoom supports both LTE as well as 3G networks and offers Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC and A-GPS + GLONASS connectivity.
